Jaune Toujours – “Je suis Ca Va” – Review on Luminous Dash

“De muziek van Jaune Toujours klinkt altijd opzwepend en vrolijk maar de teksten van Piet Maris gaan de wereldproblemen niet uit de weg. Je Suis Ca Va is een protestlied met een belangrijk statement: we geloven nog steeds in vrede en we zijn bereid om daar lawaai voor te maken.”

“Jaune Toujours’ music always sounds rousing and upbeat but Piet Maris’ lyrics do not shy away from world problems. Je Suis Ca Va is a protest song with an important statement: we still believe in peace and we are willing to make noise for it.”

Thank you Luminous Dash for this warm review of our new single Je Suis Ca Va (Radio Edit) – now available to stream!

Jaune Toujours – Radio edit of “Je Suis Ca Va” from album Vertigo.

Surprise! We released a fresh radio edit of “Je Suis Ca Va” from our album Vertigo.

In a world where over 50 countries are facing armed conflict—Gaza, Sudan, RDC, Ukraine, Myanmar, and many others, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. In times like these, clarity is scarce, and we risk drifting from the values born out of WWII. “Je suis ça va” is our ironic reply to the madness: Brussels slang, grammatically all wrong, yet emotionally spot on—a survival phrase when asked how you’re doing in a world on fire.

The chorus nods to the freewheeling, language-bending lyrical style of the late Arno, with a wink and a nod. But make no mistake—this is also a protest song, dressed in upbeat music and softened by female backing vocals, to say: we still believe in peace, and we’re willing to make noise for it.

Help us get this message heard—stream, share, and save the track so radio stations pick up on it too. Let’s spread this song like a signal through the static.

Jaune Toujours – Muziekclub ‘t Ey – Belsele

At Muziekclub ‘t Ey in Belsele — an unforgettable night with Jaune Toujours, ending the set unplugged and up close among the audience. Merci for the warm vibes!

Jaune Toujours – TreibsAND – Lübeck, Germany

Lübeck, you were amazing!

A night to remember at treibsAND—great crowd, top-notch hospitality with fresh veggies and tasty snacks, and some familiar faces! Inge, who once booked us here, was back as part of the audience, while Joachym gave us a warm welcome as the new programmer.

Over the years, our tag on the backstage wall disappeared with the renovations—but no worries, Bart made sure Jaune Toujours left its mark once again!

Meanwhile, the crowd skanked along enthusiastically—Lübeck, you sure know how to throw a party!

Swipe through the memories!

Jaune Toujours – Pferdestall Bremerhaven – Germany

Bremerhaven, you were wonderful! What a night at Pferdestall—full of energy, connection, and powerful shared moments. We were especially touched by those who told us how our messages of peace, anti-war and solidarity with refugees resonated with them. That’s why we do what we do.

And despite only 3 RSVPs on Facebook, the club filled up beautifully—so glad we took the chance! Also, a special shoutout to the familiar faces from our 2014 gig here—great to see you again!

Dankeschön, Bremerhaven!
